Post Birmingham MCM Comic Con 2014

Sarah Fogg and I had a table at Birmingham MCM Comic Con. Thank you very much to everyone who stopped for a chat or bought our comics. It was a busy show and we had a really great time.

Most items in the photo are available to order from my Etsy shop or Sarah's Etsy shop.
We don't have any tables booked in April but our next events will be BCExpo and London MCM Expo in May. Gemma Sheldrake will have her own table in the comic village at MCM.

In our last blog post we annouced that there will no longer be an Inspired Comics group table at events. But some of our members will still be attending separately, so here is all the information you need about confirmed events this spring.

Bristol Comic and Zine Fair!!

This saturday we will have a table at the Bristol Comic and Zine Fair. I'm super excited to see all the other comics and zines that will be there! Our table will host a variety of things made by the group. This includes the last anthology we made in the spring, Mix Tape. We will also have copies of  What's The Time Mrs. Woolf? a bimonthly zine with open submissions. (as far as I know there will be a new issue releasd at this event)

If you would like a collection of free mini comics then the scret password is 'Do you have a business card?'

Don't worry if you aren't free in bristol this saturday. We will also be attending ...

Hello! It was extra difficult for everyone to get tables at comics events this term. I'm very pleasd to finally announce that we have a table at all 3 events we wanted to go to.

We're not planning a big group anthology for October, but I will try my best to blog about anything new that individual members will be making for the events.

Hello! Massive thank you to all those who visited the table for chatting and purchases over the weekend! We had a great time at Bristol Comics Expo!

Treebeard has struggled getting work in Hollywood despite his role in LOTR. We got him a temp job being sandwich board guy. (really what happened is that I forgot to pack a extra stand, but did remember to bring a Treebeard action figure to hang out with)

We have 1 copy left of Alien Rendez-vous and Beyond Fantasy. They're both listed on my Etsy.

Pre Bristol Comics Expo Post

 

 

Hello! This saturday and sunday (11th-12th) we will be at Bristol Comics Expo! We're launching our new anthology Mixtape. (See the last couple of blog  posts for previews) We still have copies of Eat Me!, last years food themed anthology. If you can't attend the event these books are listed on my Etsy shop.

 

We will have all the issues of What's The Time Mrs. Woolf? which are still in stock. They are magazines style zines so it's not important to start from the begining or read in order. The issues are also listed on Sarah's Etsy

Some of the solo comics Sarah and I will be bringing along. We'll be taking some mini comics, postcards, badges and things too.

 

Sale!! Sale!! Beyond Fantsy and Alien Rendez-vous are the last stock of some of our older comics and they will be just 50p!

 

 

FREE MINI COMICS! We'll have around 60 sets of free mini comics to give out at the event. If we forget to hand you one if you're browsing the secret code is 'Do you have a business card?' - and free things will be in placed your hands!

I think thats everything. We have a bigger table space so basically everything we have in stock will be there!

Spring Events 2013!

Bristol Old Vic Farmers Market

Sarah Fogg is going to be at the Farmers Market at the Bristol Old Vic on Saturday 28th July. You can find out more about the event here. Sarah will be taking some copies of Inspired's latest anthologies, What's The Time Mrs. Woolf? zines and her own comics to sell. She has also been making some brilliant sets of miniature paintings like the examples shown above. 

Sarah will have some of the free mini comic sets to hand out too, but stock will be limited again - its worth getting to the table early if you can.
