Last Minute Annoucement

I'm happy to announce that we have a last minute table at Volume Print Fair at the new Library of Birmingham on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th December. That's this weekend! Click here for more information about the full event. I'm super excited because the new library is awesome and it's great to do local events!

If our last minute plans work out Shaz Jubeen, Jack Davies, Sarah Fogg will be around at the event with their work as well as extra stock by Gem Sheldrake and Sammy Borras. And of course we will have our group anthologies and hopefully some free mini comics and/or bookmarks.

Thought Bubble Announcement & Autumn Events!

Hello! It was extra difficult for everyone to get tables at comics events this term. I'm very pleasd to finally announce that we have a table at all 3 events we wanted to go to.

Bristol Comic & Zine Fair  5th Oct

London MCM Expo 25th-27th Oct

Thought Bubble (Allied London hall) 23rd-24th Nov

We're not planning a big group anthology for October, but I will try my best to blog about anything new that individual members will be making for the events.

Spring Announcement - Birmingham MCM Expo 2013

Hello! I'm pleased to announce that Inspired Comics will have a table at Birmingham MCM Expo at the NEC on 16th-17th March! You'll be able to find us in the Comics Village (probably eating cake).

I've been chatting to the group about their projects this year and hopefully it wont be long till I can announce some of them!

We've not booked any other tables yet but we've got our eye on a couple of events later in the spring. I'll announce them when we've got better confirmation.

I have a Mickey Mouse and Adventure Time MASH UP t-shirt design open for scoring on Threadless. So if you like it and would like to see it printed you need to give it a high score. Thanks!

Thought Bubble 2012 and Music Anthology

We can now confirm Inspired Comics will have a table at Thought Bubble 2012. We're really excited because we had such a good time there last year. We'll be somewhere in the Saviles Hall again. :)

We're currently working on a comics anthology with a music theme and are hopping to release it in the autumn. I'm going to try to start blogging comics development and hopefully get some some music choices from the group to accompany the work. 

I haven't collected anything to post yet, but I went to see Blur with Sarah last week at Wolverhampton Civic Hall. We both drew sketches while we were there and Sarah has touched up some of them after the event. You can see more of Sarah's sketches here. It's interesting seeing how different our location drawings are.

I didn't draw as much as Sarah did, I was too busy singing badly along to my favourite songs ^^; . You can see the sketches I did of the warm up band here.
