Post Manchester MCM Expo 2013

 

Super big thank you to everyone who came by our table at Manchester MCM Expo! Sarah, Jack and I had a great day! I hope you enjoyed the mini comics! Here is a tour of the table ...



 

 

Sarah brought some super cute Zelda mini notebooks and stickers! I think there is only one copy of Bad Fairy Bakery left now - you might be able to get a copy from Sarah's Etsy shop.

We had all avaliable issues of What's The Time Mrs. Woolf? on the table including the brand new summer issue!

 

This Is Not A Serious Music Publication Summer 2013 was printed just in time! (This Etsy!)

 

Mixtape is our latest Inspired group comics anthology!-Avaliable from my Etsy shop. 

 

Bear Pit is a zine created by a group in Bristol. Sarah has a comic in the latest issue! you can read more about their zines (and fairs) here

 

 

We also made a bunch of mini comics and zines recently! because they're so much fun to make!

 

 

 

Jack had copies of the thick full colour Alex comics! They are avaliable from Jack's Etsy shop!

I printed a new nostalgic slice of life story called 2002! There is also only one copy of Jumping The Shark left. I'm not planning to reprint them - it's listed on Etsy if you're interested.

Manchester MCM Expo - NEW STUFF

 

Sarah and I have made a new issue of the music zine! Articles, illustrations and comics featuring Hiam, Blur, Villagers, Savages, Janelle Monáe, The Kinks, Gaptooth, Sex Bob-Omb VS. Gorillaz, Maxïmo Park, Flight of The Conchords, Fatoumata Diawara and Oasis. It's avaliable from Etsy! 

 

In June I printed a short story I drew earlier in the year. (also avaliable to order online)

Tomorrow Inspired Comics will be int he Comics Village at Manchester MCM Expo with myself, Sarah and Jack. So we will have the new spring and summer issues of What's The Time Mrs. Woolf? (sorry I don't have the new previews to show you) and Jack will have his full colour Alex book!

Free Mini Comics at Manchester MCM Expo!

 

We have been working hard at making new things to take to Manchester MCM Expo this Saturday! You can find our table in the Comics Village! We try to make new free mini comics to hand out at events every year. Sarah and Lily have made this cute mini version of the What's The Time Mrs. Woolf? zine.  

 

 

Sarah's new free mini comic is a new story featuring Patience! 

 

And this is my own new free mini comic about the Giant Rhinos characters.

And if you're interested in making your own free mini comics or zine I have a bunch of theses mini comic/work sheets. I printed them for a workshop which didn't actually go ahead in the end. So I'll have them somewhere on the table for anyone who is interested.

The secret password for the free mini comics is 'do you have a business card?'

I'll be back with more previews later in the week - probably Thursday!

Manchester MCM Expo 2012

Thank you to anyone who came to the table or bought something on Saturday! I was totally overwhelmed with how busy it was! I hope everyone liked the free mini comics we made to hand out - sorry they had all gone by midday. Sorry if I seemed a bit sleepy too, it was a long day at the end of a busy week.

This photo was in focus the best (sorry its just my phone camera). We'd sold out of some of the zines by this point in the day too. Hopefully we can go to the event next year and I will take more stock.

FREE MINIATURE ZINE LIBRARY

Hello! We're going to be at Manchester MCM Expo tomorrow and these photos are of the free stuff that will be available from the table (while stocks last). The bundles have rotating covers and all include 3 A7 hand folded mini zines and a fold out poster.

The What's The Time Mrs. Woolf? Free Mini Zine contains tiny articles by Lily and Sarah, illustrations by Clem and a new Stale Symphony comic by Sammy. Patience is a Virtue: The Mystery of the Nightboy is a free 6 page mini mystery comic by Sarah Fogg. The Crossroads is the latest free mini comic by Sammy Borras and folds out into a A4 poster.

We will also have copies of What's The Time Mrs. Woolf? Issue 5: The Hairy Issue which was released this week!

Table News!

I'm happy to announce that we will be at Manchester MCM Expo in the Comics Village on Saturday 21st July 2012!

We'll have copies of all the anthologies that are still in stock plus some of the self published projects by individuals from the group. We'll have a couple of new free mini comics to hand out too, so make sure to stop by the table and say hello :)

We're hoping to be at a couple of other events later in the year and I'll let you know the details once they've been confirmed
